Why moms circles?

Motherhood is a portal, crazy magical but also intensely challenging. I believe initiation of motherhood is coded in our DNA, but we need awareness, space and community to fully integrate its teachings and gifts. So, four months after my son’s birth, I started to host circles to create communities where we support each other.

What is a moms circle?

There is something special that happens when we come together with the intention to take care of ourselves, each other and to share our truths. Motherhood is a wild ride, especially if are you an international mom, sometimes finding yourself away from your culture, language, family and friends.

In circles we create space to say out loud the things that cannot be voiced elsewhere, find echoes of recognition in each other’s stories, integrate learnings and find new strength. Together we continue the age-old tradition of women’s circles where we share the unique experiences of this time and support each other through the initiation that is motherhood.

At a circle, we

  • Connect with like-minded moms

  • Exchange wisdom, laughter, and support in a cozy space

  • Tap into our imagination, playfulness and our body’s wisdom

  • Share our stories, celebrate our unique journeys

  • Close with a small ritual to honour the circle and take new energy out into our daily lives

  • End with a picnic and chats

About me

I’m Theresa—facilitator, mother, and regenerative culture practitioner.
I’ve been holding space for communities for over 10 years, across Europe and East Africa, and am now focused on working with mothers, small collectives, and nervous system-informed cultures of care.

Where to find us

I am currently running monthly in-person circles in Gdynia and the TriCity area. You can follow my Facebook page or request to join our Facebook group to hear about upcoming gatherings and connect with other moms.

I’ve also initiated a circle in Warsaw, you can find their facebook group here.

What the moms say

  • With her warm personality, Theresa offers an open and relaxed atmosphere in the Mom's Circle. There is room for the feelings of all the ladies without any judgement. The feeling of equality that creates sincere connections makes this group unique. Everyone is truly seen and can be completely themselves, which can be a relief in a life where expectations are high and we take on different roles. It is a pleasure to be part of this fantastic group of mothers or future mothers.

    Natalja

  • So grateful for you and for creating and holding such a beautiful supportive space for all of us.

    Monika

  • I joined this circle during a very hopeless time in my life. I was even struggling to express myself. My little daughter slept and woke up within this circle, gently touching the other mothers and sharing her energy. Here, we witness the transformation of many women on their journey through motherhood, and that reminds us we’re not alone. You can be understood, you can laugh, you can cry, you can dance — or simply be still — because this circle doesn’t aim for achievement, it responds to a need. You leave the circle with exactly what you needed. Being part of this circle is just as joyful as being a mother itself. Thank you, Theresa, for making this space possible. We’re so lucky to have you.
