Re-Inventing Self

A Weekend Retreat for Women

Magic Happens When Women Gather

Step away from the noise. Step into the next version of you.

This is not just a retreat. It’s a turning point.
A gentle interruption in the noise of life—a breath, a question:

Who am I now?
Who am I becoming?

This weekend is for women in transition:
into motherhood, into midlife, into a softer strength, or a louder truth. For those whose old ways no longer fit, and for those standing on the edge of something new.

Whether you feel cracked open or quietly curious— you are invited.

What Awaits You

A lovingly held space to reconnect, reflect, and reimagine:

  • Sharing Circles – where your voice is heard, not fixed

  • Vision Board Rituals – map your reinvention with purpose

  • Meditation & Guided Journeys – meet your inner wisdom

  • Creative Embodiment – movement, dance, and deep listening to the body

  • Cooking & Eating Together – slow, nourishing meals made with joy

  • Celebration & Sisterhood – music, ceremony, laughter, and sacred slowness

  • A magical 100-year-old log home, a pine forests & a quiet river

Together, we’ll dream wildly.
We’ll let go of old stories.
And we’ll begin again—from the inside out.

  • Talya Balikcioglu is a dance teacher and a certified Thai Yoga Massage practitioner. With a graduate degree from the Performing Arts Department in Istanbul Bilgi University, her training is focused on psychosomatic practices as well as classical and contemporary dance techniques.

She has 15+ years of experience leading movement classes for groups and individuals, focusing on stress relief, enhancing sensory awareness, and cultivating fluidity and softness in everyday movement. Her somatic approach supports emotional regulation and a return to embodied presence—an approach she holds dear, especially in facilitating intimate group spaces.

In this retreat, her focus is on guiding participants to gently land into themselves and walk their inner landscapes with curiosity and care.

  • Theresa Fend is a facilitator, community weaver, and regenerative culture practitioner who creates spaces where you can exhale, soften, and come home to yourself. With over a decade of experience holding gatherings—from intimate circles to large-scale festivals—Theresa offers a steady, nurturing presence and a gift for cultivating true connection.

Her work is rooted in somatic wisdom, collective care, and the rhythms of life in transition—whether personal, cultural, or ecological. Deepened by her own journey through motherhood, Theresa holds space with warmth, integrity, and a deep respect for each woman's unique path. She gently invites what’s real, what’s ready, and what’s longing to be remembered.

In this retreat, Theresa will guide the group into a space of deep rest, connection, and presence. Her facilitation invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect—with your body, your truth, and a circle of women walking alongside you.

  • The Space

Tucked into the heart of Nadbużański Landscape Park, surrounded by pine forests and bordered by a quiet river, this 100-year-old log home holds a wild stillness.

We’ll sleep in a cozy attic room with floor beds and the option to bring a tent for extra privacy.
We cook, live, and take care of the space together—as a village, not as guests.

🪷 Expect silence and song. Forest and fire.
    Tea, chocolate, porridge, and soul.

    By Bus

You can also take a bus to Stoczek—a nearby town, about 80 minutes on foot from our location. Buses leave Warsaw a few times daily. Check the schedule on the Darbus website to plan your trip. Let us know if you’d like a ride from Stoczek and we’ll try to sort you out!

    Still unsure?

Reach out—we’re happy to help coordinate your arrival.
    We’ve got you.

  • Throughout the weekend, we’ll cook and share vegan and vegetarian meals—simple, nourishing, and prepared with care, joy, and togetherness.

Included in your retreat: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks. Think warm porridge, fresh fruit, crunchy nuts, vibrant salads, creamy hummus, comforting soups, cozy curries, stir-fries, tea, cacao, and little touches of sweetness—because feeding the soul is just as important.

All made slowly, with love—and together in the kitchen.

  • We believe in accessible, beautiful experiences—and in honoring the value of the space we're creating together.
